Feets / Collection / My build Cold War and GWOT SMGs, PCCs, & PDWs - Part 2
Today’s selection is comprised of more Cold War and Modern Day (GWOT) Submachineguns (SMGs), Pistol Caliber Carbines (PCCs) and Personal Defense Weapons (PDWs). In chronological order they are:

Colt USA 9mm SMG (1982-Present)

SIG P320 / Brugger & Thomet P320 Chassis 9mm PDW (2018-Present)
Maxim Defense / Aero / Daniel Defense PDW (2019-Present)
SIG P320 / Flux Defense USA Raider Chassis (2020-Present)

These are all from my personal collection. I have no relationship to any other collections within my area and am a stand-alone entity....

How did you obtain your prohibited license?

I started collecting prior too the OICs of the early 1990s and ensured that I owned a firearm within each OIC before they came into force. That ensured that I was "Grandfathered" for each of the Prohibition OIC and could therefore continue to buy and sell within those prohib classes of firearm.

Don’t see those m-11 often. That strap looks fucky though I can’t imagine using it full auto. Rip your fingers

If it is any consolation, I am pretty much done. I may throw together a post on various shotguns, but those are Restricted at most, so no more prohibited stuff. Relax, breathe, carry on.....

Nope. Not at present. If the Conservatives ever gain power again, and if they implement the Simplified Classification System then it should be possible to legally transport them to a range again.

Do you have a BRS 99 ?
What about a Milkor BXP ?
What are your thoughts on those?
There were Non-restricted at one point in Canada

I have owned the BRS-99 in the past. They are essentially a lighter-weight, Polish rendition of the UZI with some additional features such as the Thumb-operated Bolt Catch on the Left side of the Receiver. The only real down-side to the BRS-99 is the massive Pistol Grip. That thing is huge and is much bigger circumference than the vast majority of human hands!! Very uncomfortable and does not allow a p;ositive grip on the gun. Otherwise they are a great design and execution. Accurate and reliable.
If memory serves, the South African Mikor BXP was reallly just a refined MAC-9 ? If that is the gun that you are thinking of, I don't think that highly of the gun, much the same way that I feel about my own MAC-11/9, which I am pretty ambivalent about. They are bullet-hoses with far too high of a rate of fire at 1200 RPM. Control in automatic fire is difficult at best and accuracy is typically terrible. They'll get the job done in a phone booth, but aren't much use outside of a smallish room....
