Just bought my first LPVO. I can't believe I passed on these for so long. Always thought they looked goofy. But wow I love the 1-6 zoom. It's such a great range for the type of hunting I do.

The red dot alone is 300 bucks the other knickknacks that came with it make it a great bundle

Yeah, that would definitely save quite a bit there as a bundle. And also avoid getting other accessories separately as well.

Nice! I wish mine came with a throw lever 😩

I got viper pst.. throw lever is an extra $100ish alone. Seems like a good bargain. 

Venom has 223 reticle though, correct?

It’s decent for what it is, not everyone has or wants to spend the money on an ATACR with an RMR. The venom is Hop from YouTube’s favourite budget LPVO and focustripp reviewed it fairly favourable as well.

This is for the most part a crazy good deal considering you could easily rehome the red dot to another firearm easily.

Also, i'm just super excited this has a 1/4 adjustments. A lot of vortex's LVPO offerings are 1/2moa.

Interested to see in how this does for you. I jave the strike eagle 1-8 SFP and I'm itching to switch to a primary arms optic. The 1/2 moa adjustment of windage and vertical is really annoying when you're trying to sight in at 200 meters and I could never really get the optic clear no matter how much I adjusted and readjusted the eyepiece

But it at least looks good in the ADM mount I got for it!

My man! I was literally looking at this the other day thinking of getting it for my makasi im waiting on. How big is the red dot? The pictures don't really do it justice? Can you post a picture to give it some scale? I need to slightest bump to pull the trigger on this lol

What you think of the widow view? Think it'll be good enough for the makasi? I'm kinda torn between this setup and going with a holographic with a flip magnifier. I could also just get the lpvo and throw a defender xl on it as well i suppose.

Does the red dot bolt onto the mount or is it a Pic rail?

Window is decent I slapped it on my Alcor build to see I was satisfied with it

I have a vortex uh 1 with a magnifier too so I’ll run both and see what I like the most

And the red dot is mounted

Nice but too bad it isn't FFP. Seems like a "good" deal until that plays into it. Hopefully the glass is nice.

Ffp lpvo especially lower zoom ones are useless, you get worse image and didn't actually gain anything, its not like you are going to use the in between zoom anyways

Yeah and don't forget to turn it off or your battery is dead next time you go to use it. I've done it with three batteries now haha

When the red dot on it is 20k hours, and a Crossfire red dot is 50k hours.....yes.

I mean a red dot is one singular emitter. Theres more than one emitter required to light up the entire etched reticle

Nice! I bought the dente bundle. Same thing minus the red dot. Tho now I'm kinda wishing I got the red dot. Want to try canted sight first.

Worst case I just slap it on my cz600 trail or Alcor 🤷🏽‍♂️
