It's Reddit. The ideology comes first. It's a female police officer and so if they concede that this particular female officer did something very wrong, they feel it leaves them open to all female officers being criticized. And so they have to look at an officer shooting a civilian point blank and say, "Well uh actually chud she did nothing wrong because you (an untrained civilian with no responsibility or duty to protect citizens) would probably do the same!"

Bad example thats just police in general and the ATF specifically
