Cops executing civilizations may be the bigger news here than whether or not the shooter used an SKS.

While I agree cops should have way more trigger discipline. That wasn’t an execution. Guy rounded a corner and surprised a cop who’s right next to their dying colleague, I would be more surprised if they hadn’t shot him.

Cops should be aware of the shooters location not hiding behind cover with their heads down. She was definitely scared for her life and forgot her training.

Saw the vid. There is no mistaking that it was 100% an accident that the civilian was shot when you look at how it unfolded. Keep that cop in your thoughts, she may have stopped the threat but she is never going to be the same after this. Ever.

I don't think she stopped the threat. I could very well be wrong but seems like another officer from further away got some hits on the shooter while reloading. Then shooter ended himself.
