Buy recommendations MRA Renegade muzzle attachment
I'm looking for suggestions for a muzzle attachment for my new (haven't received it yet) 12.5" Renegade in .223 Wylde. I missed out on AR-15 fun so I don't have anything on hand. Was looking at the MRA Defiant muzzle brake but would appreciate other ideas, preferably something I can actually get in Canada.

S&j Hardware Linear compensator. They sell short and long versions with or without flutes.
Went down this rabbit hole a month ago when I got my 12.5 inch renegade. Supposedly helps throw some of the concussion from the short barrel downrange.
You feel it in your teeth a bit standing a bay away from someone shooting it.
A brake is a bit silly on these imo. You don't need help with muzzle rise as it's a straight pull. I wanted something a bit more unique than an a2 flash hider, hence my choice for the above (and cost savings vs a brake).

I picked up a surefire pro comp and am very happy with it so far. Did more than I was expecting for recoil and muzzle rise.
Its got my vote 👍

I have a Lantac Dragon on my Maverick, they make a 5.56 version as well.
idk how much difference it'll make for the renegade tho, it already shoots pretty easy.

I have their MRA Rock Solid brake on my 16" Renegade and love it. It is definitely more concussive but works tremendously well for holding your target after a shot.

I have the defiant brake it works well plus then it can be called a defiant renegade perfect name for the situation lol also extremely loud especially at our outdoor range that has a roof over it lol I don’t notice recoil either but I’m a fair sized boy even my kids can shoot it

I got a Surefire Procomp on my MRA, totally eliminates muzzle jump and recoil, but its also extremely concussive and loud.
