Buy recommendations Tikka T3X Ace Shipping Delay

I purchased a T3X Ace Target in .223 2 months ago. The gun store doesn’t know when it will actually arrive, and said that they aren’t given any ETA information. Do all tikkas get made and shipped from Finland, or are there third parties besides the gun store involved. I want to reach out to somebody to have some kind of eta.

Guns are like this. We actually had a letter from tikka about a month ago saying to expect delays. Weatherby is in the same boat, and of course ruger is as well. This is the first year in awhile henry has a has a good fill rate. Unfortunately its the industry. That being said stoeger canada always has a high fill rate so it will come sometime this year.

I did the same with my CZ 457 MTR 20” when I couldn’t find any. It was months and months and months and months before it finally had shown up to my local shop. Comes from the manufacturing plant, and depending on the state of the world/war it could extend that timeline a fair bit. Unfortunately, your local shop has a better chance of getting ahold of the Canadian importer side to ask the question, and if they haven’t heard back there’s not much you can do on your end.

I’ll try it out on Monday maybe they’ll be helpful. It’s a bit annoying to advertise 4-6 weeks and openly say yea we actually have no idea. If I knew that going in I would have purchased the 308 version from bass pros which is always in stock. None the less I’d lose 25% of my money if I canceled.

Stoeger Canada is the Canadian distributor for Tikka / Sako rifles, I'm not sure if they'll provide any info to you, but it's worth a shot (pardon the pun).

Who did you order from? Certain dealers get stock faster than others. Some don't pay their bills and keep your deposit. Let's hope you didn't order from the one that stole my deposit and disappointed a customer for 6+ months.
