Just got my pal! And went out to the range for some stress relief, took the wife along! She want one of her own too so i brought here a 22. I know they both are cheap Turk but we all have to start some where!

Welcome :) I had the RF224 for a time, I liked it. It likes high velocity ammo

Yeah I had a good time with it, but as soon as some RS22M were imported I bought one, moved the LPVO over to that and sold the RF224. Just something about .22 mag makes me happy

It is very accurate! But after 100 round my shoulder blade is nicely tenderized!

You tenderized your shoulder with a 22?

Enjoy the new hobby. That round rubber piece on the cocking handle is just a shipping protector, you can toss that.

That what the guy at the shop told us but the wife like she said it is easier for her

I actually love my little rf224 so much. No issues so far, as has been stated it likes hotter ammo. But the adapter thingy doesn’t work well at all, at least with the promag rem 597 mag I bought. Doesn’t matter what I feed that, it jams, even cci mini mag plated round nose (and if a semi 22 doesn’t cycle those then good luck finding anything it does). That’s not a fault of the gun, but the adapter and magazine. Not work bothering with in my opinion, I like the flush fitting 10 round ruger style mags anyway.

Probably gonna put a cheap little red dot on it soon.

Watch yourself with that federation pump. I tried one out in store and it didn’t seem to have an action lock which means out-of-battery detonations are possible. Always make sure it’s racked fully forward when pulling trigger…

New PAL holder here too, what ranges allow you to just bring your own? Is there such a thing or is the membership the only way?

Nice!!! Watch your finger on the shotgun heard some guy moved his left thumb infront when pumping it and shot his finger off. Also get a SKS when you can
