Application / Regulation advice Will moving provinces nullify my CFSC + CRFSC ?
Hey guys, I see the target pistol people are doing, and I wanna move from Manitoba to B.C, not just for that, but also because I wanna go work in the northern mines there.
I currently have my PAL, and a CRFSC booked for this weekend, here in MB.
But I saw some comment from a guy in this sub who moved from MB to BC, and he said that either the BC target shooting association (the guys who give the exemption letter) or either the CFO, did not recognize his Manitoba CFSC + CRFSC results.
Is this true? Will I have to retake it there? The place I will be moving to in September is a small plane ride away from any city so I won't have many places to take it.

It’s a federal program so it doesn’t matter where in Canada you took the CFSC or CRFSC it’s valid. Maybe that person was referring to needing to update your address with the CFO, in which case you will get a new card. Or maybe they were referring to the hunting license, in which case you will need to do the CORE course to get it.

I do remember the person saying they had to retake both in BC. But hopefully I remember wrong lol.
But hold up, when I update my PAL license through the web services to BC, will they ship me a new card?

That is incorrect. It is recognized across Canada.
