Feets / Collection / My build First purchase Beretta A300

Post image

Got my pal two weeks ago and after doing a lot of research for a semi auto 12g I landed between this or the SX4. But due to the sale going on and overall fit of the gun I decided on the beretta A300!

One of my buddies gave me a lot of shit for buying this since he feels it’s the “Ferrari of guns” but I thought for the price point it was worth the purchase.

Question is where the heck can I actually go and shoot this now? I live just north of Toronto and want to get some target practice in.

I don't live nearby so I can't give you suggestions there.

But the A300 is a truly awesome gun and I'm definitely glad you picked that option. It's often touted as the best gun of its kind for this price point! My father has the same one and he cherishes it like no other.

To practise, I suggest finding a range that has skeet, trap and five stand (or even sporting clays) and trying it all. They're all different and work on different movements/skills. There is a lot that goes into pointing a shotgun and leading targets. You will be awful first starting out, but quickly get better as your learn the techniques. Suggest watching YouTube videos on mounting and pointing!
