This is the one bulky, ugly fish gun. Hopefully reliable, being from IWI. But unlike X95 it's not a civilian version of military rifle or proved design, it's just a revived failed project. I guess we will see.

For what it’s worth, they’re not owned by the Israeli government. IWI is a private entity and also manufacturers firearms in the US and Ukraine

I hope there will be aftermarket handguards. 18.5" barrel with that handguard is going to look ridiculous, kinda like the BCL102 or WK180c...

I like it. I’ve heard the opinion of just one American who I know and respect for his deep knowledge, and he says these rifles are not so great. He said they did feel plasticky. Honestly though, if I hadn’t already blown my wad after 9 months of PAL I would very likely get one from this video alone. 😭

This is probably the only rifle well made / cool enough I could ever justify the insane black gun prices in Canada...

But its 1000% going to be banned within a few years so why bother

You must be a new gun owner. The 5 round pinned limit has been in effect for decades in Canada yet AR15s, ar180b, Type 81s, Tavors, etc were still widely popular before the bans. If you go by 30 round magazine capacity as a prerequisite for buying a semi auto center fire rifle, you might as well not even get into guns here.

They're using 10 round LAR15 pistol magazines, still not as good as a 25 round or 110 round drum 😃 for the 10/22 though but 5.56 is more useful than .22LR beyond target shooting.
