Loaded tens thousands of rounds in all sorts of mags. Works everytime.

Had calluses and cuts on my fingers from loading my M&P 2.0 with thousands of rounds when I was starting to shoot and before I started using Maglula.

Guy I know at the range gave me a 3D printed speed loader. Looked kinda like this but without the sides, so it works for most types of pistol and rifle ammo.

On a semi related note, I recently got a S&W 1854 in .44 and the last round got jammed in the loading gate while loading it. It was my first time shooting it as well. That was fun.

On another semi-related note, when my friend first got his Garand, he and I were so excited to take it to the range that we didn't stop to think how the clips were supposed to be loaded up in the first place - we both just kind of assumed that it would be relatively straightforward.

When we were finally forced to face this question, we couldn't get a signal at all (it was an indoor range) so we had to pack up and leave and go outside to watch a video on how to load these clips lmao, fucking embarrassing as hell.

After we learned that we went back in and everything was fine, until we realized that we only brought 3 boxes of ammunition, and we were left with only 4 individual rounds afterward...

My Tikka T3X CTR came with 10 round mag and I ordered 3 more.
5 rounds is BS when I want to poke lots of holes in a 1” circle.

I have a Springfield XDM Elite in 9mm with unpinned factory 10 round mags. Those mags are super hard to load, I have to put in a lot of effort to load even the first round. I always scrape my thumb or fingers and bleed. I have accepted it as a ritual bleeding to please the handgun gods.

I loaded a lot of magazines when I worked at a rental range. The Glock 21 (.45acp) 10rd was my least favourite magazine to load but at least it built up my thumb callouses

Yes, I have a UpLULA I love it, but it does NOT work for the 10th round in a M&P9 2.0 mag. If you want ten rounds, you gotta do it the old fashioned way.

I've loaded the M&P9 2.0 mags many time to 10 using the UpLULA. By hand I can maybe get to 5. Those are the hardest mage ive ever dealt with. The glocks are so easy comparably and I really only need the UpLULA for the 10th round.

Agree on M&P9 2.0 pinned mags being the hardest to load to full capacity that I've come across. Glock proprietary and Magpuls are a breeze by comparison.

I still load some mags without the UpLULA occasionally just so I don't get soft. 😃
