Buy recommendations Looking for Decommissioned Hunting Rifle - EDMONTON

Hello,

I'd like to acquire a decommissioned hunting rifle for an upcoming short film. Can you recommend any shops or sellers that have these?

I also read that if I do not have a license, that's okay provided I have the decommissioning paperwork.

Just FYI, in most cases film props are rented, not purchased.

Get in touch with FAVA at the Orange Hub if you haven't already. They're a great group and while they don't do prop rentals directly they are an excellent network and they can almost guaranteed put you in touch with rental options.

I'm in Edmonton and I've been involved in the industry for a while, primarily as a boom op, and I've been licensed for years. If you want tips on things like firearm handling let me know. I've previously done stuff like make prop ammunition for projects, I just don't own any prop guns myself.
