Buy recommendations Derya TM22 questions

Hey everyone, I just purchased my first gun which is a derya TM22 Pro.

I live just north of the gta, and until I find a range or crown land to shoot I’d like to get familiar with my rifle.

The staff at the store said you don’t really need to oil the gun, just clean it with spray after use. Is this true? The manual doesn’t really say much of anything lol.

Is there any attachments and scopes anyone recommends for this gun?

Thanks!

Always good to know how to disassemble and reassemble your new rifle. When it’s disassembled - give it a cleaning and oil lightly. Wipe down the rifle with a clean cloth once it’s all back together.

YouTube is a good source for instructions.

Looks like I’ll need to purchase a cleaning kit and pin removing kit? Any you recommend in particular?

Any local gun store will carry cleaning kits but I found the one I got wasn’t worth the price.

I ended up buying the items separately and some on Amazon. Same goes for the pin removal tools, Amazon or your local hardware store will have em.

Using old cloth tshirts shirts for rags works too if you want to safe some money.

Awesome, thanks! I seen some people are against using brass barrel brushes to clean the barrel, but in the derya video they show using a brass brush. So much conflicting information on the internet lol.

I have a brass barrel brush for it. Haven't used it yet. I just run a few patches through with CLP until they come out clean. It seems to work nicely.
