Buy recommendations Derya TM22 questions

Hey everyone, I just purchased my first gun which is a derya TM22 Pro.

I live just north of the gta, and until I find a range or crown land to shoot I’d like to get familiar with my rifle.

The staff at the store said you don’t really need to oil the gun, just clean it with spray after use. Is this true? The manual doesn’t really say much of anything lol.

Is there any attachments and scopes anyone recommends for this gun?

Thanks!

I’d take it apart and clean it/lube it. Not sure if the pro is different but on my 18” aluminum TM22 the charging handle sucks, I replaced mine with a Dlask. Not sure if they’re still available as I heard they were closing, someone must make one though.

Yeah, I seen there’s some brand called Alex’s homebrew? Thanks for the input!

Also a weird bit about the charging handle, there’s a flat and rounded side and if you crank down on it the wrong way you can bend the bolt metal and pinch the left hand extractor groove. Mine was loose at the range one day and I cinched it down the wrong way by accident and it took me a while to figure out where the issue was (thanks Engy Alex btw). I just had to file the extractor groove straight again and it worked like new.

so... I seem to have fucked up in this exact same way, did not notice the flat spot. Now I feel I may have fucked it up. But I am considering moving my charging handle to the other side, which, apparently is doable.

Hmm, interesting. Seems like a lot of people change the charging handle it seems
