Shooting Hello Reddit friends i need your help

I’m looking for a safe spot around Barrie, Huntsville, Port Perry, or nearby areas for some shooting practice on Crown land. I understand how difficult it is to share a good spot because some people don’t respect the area or misuse it. I just moved from Calgary, so I truly understand the value of having a clean and responsible place to shoot.

I’ve already spent a lot of time searching through ATLAS and other websites and apps, but it’s still been very difficult to find clear and reliable locations in these areas. Most information seems outdated, restricted, or hard to confirm.

I give you my word that I’ll fully respect the location, clean up everything after use, and help keep the area maintained. I’d really appreciate any help or guidance.

The crown land around Port Perry has signage that says "Discharge of firearms for any purpose other than hunting is prohibited" so target practice is not allowed.

I am not asking specific port perry hunstville, barrie, spring water muskoka any area. But the here the situation is this no body wants to share there spots even some good ones are also suffering because of some idiots.

I've heard there some in peterborough or buckhorn area. I just got my pal too and have been looking myself

There are number of spots in these areas but everyone wants to make it lowkey.

There are chunks of crown land in Seguin township west of highway 400.

Yes everybody has ideas that there are bunch of places for shooting and people are already doing there. But some of us misuse those places and now nobody wanna share exact coordinates of there spots. I am responsible shooter but still suffering because nobody is sharing.
