Misc Has anyone dealt with purchasing firearms online or in person from Sporteque?

So I found a really good deal on a gun that Sporteque has listed up on their site. I would have to do shipping since I'm in Ontario and their store is in Quebec.

I'm just concerned cuz I looked at their Google reviews online and they're averaging at just 4/5 stars currently. There's quite a few negative reviews.

I'm wondering if anyone has dealt with this retailer recently. Thanks.

Idk about you but 4 out of 5 on google I find to be quite good

Legit bought stuff from them all the time.

The telltale sign of a scam is that they ONLY accept E-Mail Money Transfers. If they accept credit cards use that.

Please note, some legit places like Budget Shooter Supply accepts EMT as a option. So, for anyone reading this, they are legit and probably the best place alongside X-Reload for reloading supplies.

4/5 stars is good, a red flag I look for is if several customers are complaining a similar issue, and the reply is always blaming the customer. Some examples are Arms East and hero outdoors, made the mistake and learned my lesson.

Not really but I noticed that most gun stores in Canada tend to have much higher average ratings.

Reviews can be faked; just need to pay a bot farm $ to flood your site with reviews. So, people shouldn’t rely on them.

I have bought from them and they were quick to ship. They often have good sales with coupon codes.

YMMV with a firearm, but I actually just ordered a scope from them on Thursday evening, it shipped on Friday morning, and tracking information came through Friday afternoon.

I was also a bit leery because of their Google reviews had quite a few negatives, but they had an MPED for the best price I could find, so....

Just wanted provide an update to this post. I ordered a shotgun on Saturday, June 13th, it was shipped out on Monday, June 15th, and I received it on Tuesday, June 16th. Incredibly fast shipping process and I live in Southern Ontario outside of the retailer's province. Firearm came as shown and described with no issues.

Sporteque is a great online retailer for firearms. This was the first time that I bought a firearm from outside my province of Ontario and I think that it was the fastest that I ever received one through shipping. Can't say anything better. I left them a good Google review as well.
