Buy recommendations Any reviews on this?
Just saw this new derya semi on sfrc, anyone got one?

Get a Mossberg 500 instead, or if you're on a budget a Maverick 88. If you have more money. It's not semi, but it will work š

This is a semi auto, at least recommend other semis like a used Remington 1100/11-87, or a new Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol if they have 1.5k to spend.
Another option that is considered to be the gold standard for Turkish shotguns is the Stoeger M3000/M3K.

Stroegers are on sale right now too! Just picked one up because they started making the m3000 in left. That's extremely rare to find a left hand semi shotgun under $1000

Why spend $500 on a semi that will ftf every second round when you could spend $400 on one that will likely outlive you.
There's no "good" sub $1k semis.

lol thatās funny, the 1100 I bought last year cost 500 bucks and will cycle anything from 24g Olympic loads to 1.5oz magnumsā¦

Save up would be my recommendations. Cheap and semi auto shotguns donāt mix well

I have not had much luck with cheap shotguns ... I learned my lesson during boxing day last year.

Looking at the price point its probably similar build quality to a charles daly. Id spend the extra on a canuck

Just curious do you feel the Canucks are at a higher level for the semi clones? I own an operator and it's been perfect to me but I only have a few hundred shells through it

Yes and O'dell is way easier to deal with for warranty stuff. That being said even in the canuck lines theres varying quality. And even the tacop elites dont compare to the a300 on the wall right now

Iād recomend spending extra on the Canuck tacop elite. Iāve shot my buddies m4 tons. And I have the tac-op, and honestly they both function the exact same with correct ammo. Just donāt go any lighter that a 1-1/8 oz round

Better than the Panzer M4 Speed Pro Tac? Considering a semi-auto and debating whether to save some money by choosing a Turkish option or just go for a Beretta.

Panzer seems the better gun, but I hear their warranty is a lot harder to use than the Canuck

Get a canuck/ panzer M4 instead. M3000 is the cheapest Semi auto shotgun I will buy. But I skipped all Turkeneli and bought myself an A300 UP

You made the right choice the a300 up is slick. My favourite one in our shop right now for the semis.

Spending $500 on a semi turkshit is asking for trouble. I've seen seen everything from bolt catches not working, non stop FTF, and firing pins not working. Even on Canucks. All right out of the box
I have no idea why people buy these instead of spending a little more (or even the same amount) on a reliable brand like Mossberg. The mossberg 930 is only $200 more and will never fail you. I've run hundreds of rounds with everything from low brass target load with less than 1oz of shot all the way to magnum turkey loads without any issues. If semi auto is not a deal breaker then a 590 for the same price will be way better.

Tenda has a great deal for a hunt group mx4 with ammo if there still available for 540+tax also seems to look similar to panzer m4 even has the ported barrel

Looks like it's using furniture from the FS-Pro... I've heard good reviews on that one, when I got mine it was missing one of the hiviz rods for the rear sights. I sold it without ever firing it, but for different reasons unrelated to the firearm.
. Idk man, low priced semi autos in general sort of scare me, but at the same time, give it a shot because not everyone needs top of the line stuff especially if they don't even shoot often.

You will never regret buying a Benelli or a Beretta. Every aspect of ownership is better, including long-term reliability, parts availability, and future resale value. There is a lot to be said for buying once and avoiding the endless cycle of warranty claims or āupgradingā from one sub-$1,000 semi-auto to the next. Save yourself the headaches, troubleshooting, and wasted time that often comes with cheap clone guns. Thatās time and energy you could be spending at the range or with friends and family instead. I canāt stress this enough. Over the last ten years Iāve owned roughly ten different 12-gauge shotguns, including Browning (both Belgian and Japanese-made), Winchester (American and Japanese-made), Canuck, Weatherby, Remington, Benelli, Beretta, and Mossberg. The only ones I kept: Benelli SBE3
Remington Versa Max
Beretta 1301 Side note: the Remington Versa Max is criminally underrated. The V3 is a more refined shotgun in many respects and is still in production, but it cannot accommodate 3.5ā shells. In the Canadian market, that reduces overall magazine capacity compared to the Versa Max, if that sort of thing matters to you.
