Feets / Collection / My build Finally here

It’s finally here! Such a cool rifle. I kind of like the straight-pull action. It’s the 16”, and now I just need to get a scope, grip, tripod, etc.

I will say that it was really easy to fit the MRX magazine. It was snug at first, but after shaving off a little material with a sharp knife, it fit just fine.

I’ve had the chance to shoot AR-15s, a SCAR, and a Sig Sauer Spear in the States before, and I actually like how lightweight the MKII feels compared to those.

Any advice here from MKII owners?

Just incase you havnt found it, if the reciever feels loose, there's a small tension screw under the grip, just gotta pop it off and you'll see it in there.

Dont baby the bolt/ride it when operating it, let that spring assist slam the bolt home.

Mine hasn't given me a single issue in the 2 years I've been using it. So I cant say a whole lot, a new/lighter trigger is my first big upgrade that ill be doing for sure.

Received a 19" 3 weeks ago and it's been a gem through 2 outings and 300 rounds. Trigger could be better, yes. The lower swings slightly on the assembly pins. Is this the loosening screw of which you speak?

If you remove the grip, one of the holes beneath it will have the small screw we're taking about 👍

... and it just tightens up gently against the upper to take out the slack? Reset it with blue Loctite? It's my first rifle with a two part receiver and ARish manual of arms.

I might upgrade the trigger while I'm at it. It's not completely unusable but it is kinda crusty. Any idea if there is a make and model for the generic AR trigger that comes with it?

Correct in regard to the slack, as for the loctite, i havnt done that yet my self.

As far as im aware, the renegade will take any AR trigger, triggertech typically seems to be the "go to brand" for these, that being said, there's a lot of trigger options out there. The one it comes with is a typical milspec duty trigger.
