A clever technique i learned from a CGN'er or Reddit'or (cant remember which) is to buy cheap gun socks off Amazon, slip them over the rifles and then stack the works into the safe... this greatly protects them from scratching and dinging into each other when moving them.

getting a proper gun safe (from a guy who was moving to the usa because of the gov) was the best decision ive had, moving from sheetmetal cabinets. Its padded, fire rated, door holds 10 levers/scoped on its own, and room for all handguns up top. 100/10, would recommend if you can

I've been debating on a double door safe from craft furniture. Just not sure if the quality would be there for $200.

Keep in mind the cheap Cabela's safes as good for storage but offer little more protection then a locker

2 smaller gun safes are better than 1 big one. Easier to move/transport.
