News / Politics / Activism This “modified” .22

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1DhKJheTN8/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Check out this .22 that two scum bags had in their possession after a dine a dash! Sawed off ruger 10/22? How goddamn ghetto can you get? Classic Medicine Hat. Guaranteed that this loser will be back on the street asap instead of behind bars indefinitely like they should be for possessing a modified gun like this.

Yeah but the guy who was charged with the firearms possession wasn't licensed and was also on probation. And he was carrying it in public. All that does is make us licensed guys look like idiots, because you know the Canadian news is going to gloss over the fact that he wasn't one of us..

So fuck that guy and fuck his stupid sawed off pos.

I understand and agree with the the fact that this idiot wasn't supposed to have a gun, but if things go real bad for us, and these bans continue and are enforced, we might become that guy. And then we can all sit in /r/canadaairgun and say "fuck that guy and fuck his stupid MRA Renegade"

Nah but that guy was never vetted by the RCMP or trained to own or use firearms. We are. We will never be that guy, regardless of the LPCs shitty politics.

We can not relate to the criminals. They're the ones giving the LPC fuel for their assault on our rights. If there had never been a crime involving a firearm in the history of mankind, banning guns would seem as silly as banning frisbees and bowling balls to the public.

The criminals doing stupid shit are literally the only reason politicians are able to publicly throw shade at us.

I agree with you. But the issue is that your response is written in the language of those who are trying to basically make gun ownership limited to as few people as possible if not outright impossible. Which is basically conceding the argument at that point.

I think we should stand firm that 22LR pistols, be it modified from a rifle or not, should be legal and that this part of the allegation is bullshit. It’s a line we don’t want to cross and will hold on. Otherwise, if 22s are prohibs, you’ll find yourself having to defend that bbguns should be legal. Which btw Australia and the UK have already been trying to do.
