Hi everyone, has anyone installed a muzzle brake on their Winchester SXP defender?

Are there any you can recommend and was installation easy?

Thanks!

Muzzle brakes on shotguns are not really effective. Sxp defender is a pump shotgun made from plastic. No recoil system and barely any padding. It is one of the worst combination for recoil in modern shotgun. Semis tend to kick a lot less. You can add something like a breacher choke for the cool factor. But I wouldn't recommend a brake or compensator on a pump. You might gain 10-20% less recoil. Not worth the price tag IMO.

Nothing but issues. Put 50 slugs through it and had an issue every 3-4th shell. Failed to feed. Failed to eject. Wouldn’t let me pump it after firing even when engaging the lever. Rear sight and choke came off but that’s just whatever in comparison

Maybe you got a lemon. Put hundreds trough mine. Not one issue exceot trigger pull that is aweful.
