Milsurps / Prohib Not very russian ig

Found this in a shop. It does not seem russian ( even do the tag says it is).

7.62x54R (and in Canada the R typically stands for Russian) but yeah it’s 100% Chinese not that it really makes a difference if you clean your rifle

The R stands for rimmed.

You are correct, I meant people refer to it as Russian.

7.62x39 is referred to as 7.62 Russian or 7.62 Soviet
