Misc future of tuf-22 magazines?

So based on some threads here and CGN, pretty much the last shipment of the HC3R tuf-22 magazines has come and gone.

Combining that with Dlask officially closed, are there any plans for another company to make something similar? Realistically, couldn't someone just make new shells for bx-15/25 magazines that have the same notch?

Otherwise as of right now the only other option is u/SpectreBallistics's 597 adapter and their receivers come cut for Tuf-22 magazines.

I’ve read a lot of comments saying these mags were fussy. You can’t beat the simplicity of the 597 promags. You can squeeze more than 22 rounds into them. The very first one I bought was a total lemon, but I have since bought multiple new ones and they load flawlessly without getting hung up around 6 or 7 rounds. Through my SBI adapter they work great.

I was pissed I just bought two, total duds. Tried working the springs and everything.

That sucks. Do you think they might have been old stock? I have this weird feeling like brand new ones are mint and old ones might have had issues.

Not sure I bought about a month ago. I’m hesitant to give it another kick of the can. I even took their advice and didn’t go for the drum.

I’ve got two drums and they’ve worked very well for me. Now that I’ve gotten lucky with the sticks I think the sticks do have the advantage. Almost the same capacity, and they are quicker to load. With the drums you can have it where the nose of the round isn’t elevated and causes a mis feed. I watch for it and I’ll turn the knob a couple of times to correct while loading. With the sticks I’ve also had it where rounds basically went vertical and were tricky to fish out of the magazine again. Derya magazines can also can have rounds get stuck in them. I thought about modifying for tuf-22 mags before too but given how scarce the actual mags are I’m glad I didn’t bother. And I’ve read theyre not without issues either. Simple is good and that’s why I like derya magazines with the Tm-22 and the 597 pro mag stick for 10/22s now. I bought 6 of the 597 sticks. 1 dud then 5 good ones.
