Misc Derya TM22 mag issue

I just got a TM22 with 12" barrel, came with a 10 rd mag that feeds perfectly.

I bought a couple of the Derya 15rd mags, but it doesnt insert well at all. On inspection, there is a difference in the rear notch of the mags. Is this an issue for anyone else? I'm wondering if I should return it, or should I try sanding it. Don't want to mess it up if there's a different version of the 15rd mag I'm supposed to get.

Thanks

I used a file to make the notch look like the 10rd mags and they have worked perfectly since.

Emery cloth on the plastic welds front and back. 5 minutes and it's fixed. It's not the notches.

I had to sand the plastic welds and smooth out the notch on 2 of 5 mags that I have for them not to get stuck in the magwell. I think it's a combo of both.

I have the 16” variant and just purchased the 15rnd polymer mag. It barely fits in the well, is exceedingly difficult to remove, and causes feed issues with what seems like every second cartridge. I didn’t even inspect the new one against to original, but I’m assuming I’ll find the same issue…

I have a similar issue. My 10rds are absurdly tight. My 15 and 25 round ones just drop right out...

I had the exact same issue with several 15-rd mags I bought in May.

Is not the notch that is the TM22 fitment problem. It is the front-to-back length of the magazine... It is about ~0.5mm too big for the TM22 magazine well.

What u/Status_Ticket5044 describes is what worked for me: use emery or other sanding means to remove about 0.25mm thickness from the front of the magazine, and do the same for the back of the magazine. Perhaps 0.5mm total reduction in the front-to-back girth of the magazine, and now these mags slide nicely.

First time I’ve heard of another mag difference. Idk why they do this just make them all the same lol. The first ones that came in with the original derya didn’t work in the cadet and lever models because they use a paddle mag release and weren’t cut for those either. Turkish problems
