Gun and gear reviews Binelli supernova

Just picked this up today!

Installed the mesa tactical rail/saddle.

So far from a take down and oil..im pretty impressed!

Like its a polymer shotgun, so it just feels completely different then a mossberg.

But i lile how its built, magazine cut-off, out of battery assist. (Not sure of what its really called)..

The loading gate locks upwards.

I'm still a mossberg guy through and through..

But i could see this being really fun and it would be a great all weather gun.

A vent rib supernova i could see being a great upland/ bird gun.

Wait til you fire it... That's where the real beauty is.

I’ve got the short barrel version. I’ve beat the crap out of it and it keeps on going. I pretty much just fire slugs and buckshot until my shoulder hurts lol.

Supernova is my goose gun. Drag it through shit, freeze it soak it. She runs and never fails to feed.

Best bang for your buck right there.

All you need is a +2-mag tube to go with that.

There is a few reasons. Controls is one major one though. A 500 has the best controls there is on a pump shotgun imo.

I wouldn't get either as my main hunting gun to be honest with ya.

Less plastic. There's no doubt the supernova is a good shotgun but it doesn't beat an M590A1

It goes the same for M500 or R870, less plastic

How does this compare with the nove speed value wise? Like are the creature comforts of the nova speed worth it? Currently I shoot an A400 with dot and comp in modified division, but I'm looking to get into IPSC standard manual. I'm not super serious, I just shoot for fun.

There looks to be an updated(?) model called SuperNova 3 on EU site. No info on US site tho. Wonder when we'll be getting these.

As a great man once said, “Something big. Bold.”

That is a Benelli M4. An Italian classic

I know, but I feel like it is a statement that applies to all Benelli shotguns.

Good choice own both a nova 3 and a 590a1, two of the most reliable and enjoyable shotguns I own

Im not a fan of the A1.. they look beautiful. Especially the retrogtade. Just too damn heavy..i likea 18.5" 590.

Supernova is only good for waterfowl and stuff. It is entirely too cumbersome and crude for upland hunting, besides you dont really need a 89mm chamber for that
