Misc This dot too far back on receiver?

Would there be much of an advantage having it up further on rail?

I like mine far forward cuz I'm a big guy with a long neck. Further forward means less I need to get my head down on the stock

I just looked and remembered why it’s where it is. It’s to not block the take down screws.

Oh right there's a screw on the top you need to take off to disassemble. I believe I have mine as far forward as I can without blocking the screw

Maybe I will try moving forward a couple notches if possible

I just find I have to crouch my head down less the further up it is to get my view in the center of the optic
