Misc This dot too far back on receiver?

Would there be much of an advantage having it up further on rail?

The right place for a red dot on a TM22 is as far forward as you can get it WITHOUT blocking any of the screws. It's better for CQB due to blocking less of your view but also leaves room in case you want to add a magnifier or iron sight.
