Gun and gear reviews Another high caliber services update. The plot thickens
So the owner states in my review that he’s never seen an email from me even though I have an entire thread with them. He also says I can call today and get a refund. Well I’ve already requested one in writing twice, and left a voicemail with no replies. After he or another older man who works there answered the phone the first time I called, I was told they were to be shipped out on Friday. when it wasn’t and the next week was underway, they wouldn’t answer any phone call from me, funny enough, I got a friend to call 10 mins after I had and they picked up immediately. After he asked for the hours and told me they answered I called them right away and sure enough, no answer.
Beware of ordering from this company. Worst customer experience, lying in their own reviews, and refusing to send a refund upon request.

Sounds like the old tactic of lying and holding out long enough that the customer can’t do a charge back.

Did that happen within the last week? I tried to contact them last Wednesday and got nothing but as soon as I post the review they reply

What's the deadline usually?

It depends on the credit card. Plan as if it's 60 days until you know otherwise for your specify card.
I had to do one and was limited at 90 days.

Their scammers. Sold me a gun through delivery and sent me a broken gun they talked the talk like they would fix it I sent it back to them and they sent it back broken again with no work done to it. Avoid these people like the plague.

How do you get a broken gun? Was this a new firearm?
Was it a Chinese or Turkish lemon?
I want some details, that just seems incredibly bizarre.

One of their milled sks with the adaptor. They put a hole through the receiver somehow then tried to claim I did it with a screwdriver (its hardened steel so thats literally impossible). It also came with missing parts required to function. When I sent it back they said they fixed it and fired multiple rounds through it which wasnt possible since that part was still missing and the hole wasnt fixed. I understand its surplus but when you physically work on a gun to sell to your customers it should be functional.

They took 350ish dollars for magazines from me, never received an update or mags. I’ve sent 10+ emails, usually get a response every third. For the first 3 months it was just waiting for order to arrive so they could ship. Going on 8 months now, have ignored 3 emails about refunding. After explicitly saying refund wouldn’t be an issue, it’s been pretty sad coming from a place you want to support but no longer can - or recommend.

Same situation, ordered 5th of March, I’ve initiated a chargeback about 4 days ago with my card issuer

If anyone is looking for an adapter after dealing with this company, I went and placed an order on Saturday from True North and it was shipped by 6:30am on the first business day. Can’t speak to its quality yet but already a much better experience with a Canadian gun business

I bought one when it was 299 they've refunded the difference when they changed the price to 199. I've been wondering whats taken so long they said it was delays from the supplier.

I will not speak on this specifically as it seems really nasty, but I will say that I have bought in store multiple times with great service from a younger guy and would buy again at the counter.

Yeah at counter where they cant scam you. Just dont order anything online because they will scam you.

I've bought parts from them online (including an SKS magwell adapter) and am happy with said purchases, seems a bit much to claim "They will scam you."

Maybe that was before but I ordered within the last 2 years and they ripped me off on a 1400$ order. Seems like something changed in the owners in the last few years. Pure scum.

They're going to completely miss the SKS accessory rush and kill their reputation. Talk about a self-own.
