Why would you take your scope off when there’s clearly space to fit it in the case with it on?

Your zero must not be very accurate

The Spuhr QD mount has 100% repeatability. I share the scope with another rifle. I know how much to dial

I was thinking the exact same thing. Why would he take the scope on and off every visit to the range just to zero it. Makes no sense.
