Feets / Collection / My build Huskemaw Scope Sight In
Does anyone have a Huskemaw Blue Diamond and understand the re sighting procedure?
Long story short I inherited one on a 30.06 Sako Grey Wolf, and the gun is shooting 24” high at 100Y and it just gets worse the further you go out. Tried the little side adjust at the correct distances and still no luck. Gun came with 300rds of Hornady 165gr SST and the ballistic turret is engraved for that round so I’ve no reason to suspect ammunition is the issue.
Contacted Huskemaw and probed the YouTube and various other reputable resources and still haven’t found an actual how to guide to sight these things in.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks

What gets worse the further you go out? Does it have a 40 MOA base or something that has it tilted for a 300m zero?
A scope is a scope, they all get zeroed at whatever distance the same way. Figure out if it has a zero stop, and reset it to its lowest setting. If you’re still way high, you probably have a base (rail) that has built in angle to allow more elevation for shooting further distances without maxing out the elevation turret. What about the rings? Some rings also have built in elevation.
