Application / Regulation advice Armalytics update
A few folks have been wondering what's going on with Armalytics lately? And rightly so. The project took a back seat for a little while due to other things, not to mention some changes on the RCMP side that broke the automated updates.
However, the site has been revamped!
What's new
- 3-pane layout lets you filter, browse, and view details all at once (Desktop)
- Direct links to individual firearms
- Improved data syncs mean no more missed updates
What is coming soon:
- Historical FRTs, French, and more.
Check it out and reach out if you have any issues or comments.
My goal has always been to democratize the FRT data and make it easily accessible to all in the community. And as always pro-firearm, no ads, no affiliations.
Thanks to all the users.

Beautiful website - and it works extremely quickly. It is a masterpiece.
If I may add a suggestion: if at all possible, it would be nice to have 1-2 photos of each firearm for each listing. As a casual user, I find it would add a lot to the user experience. But I know that is probably much easier said than done! Thank you!

Thanks for the recommendation. Its something I'll look at doing. Would likely add some sort of confidence to scrapped photos and only present ones which are confidently a match. With so many variants and obscure firearms, it would be impossible to find photos for everything.
Live FRT does have some photos but unfortunately RCMP does not make that public.

Looks great. Welcome back!
My two cents:
- make the filters on the left alphabetical. Much easier to quickly locate an item.
- default-select (unless the X is clicked) the first firearm listed so the area to the right always has something in it.
