Gun and gear reviews Henry Mares Leg Accurate with iron sights?

I wanted to do a little comparison with the Henry Mares Leg .22LR and the “traditional” Henry Lever action! Here are my results at 25 yards. (I did adjust my sights afterwards)

Have you guys had similar results with your mares leg?

With my mares leg, I used a bungee sling and a red dot. Using the "push and pull method", similar to a shotgun, and would get tighter groups at 25 yards

Ah yes the old SAS MP5K special. Always knew you were a man of culture soup! Please don't attempt any hostage rescues with the Henry though haha.

As I recall though it's been a few years, yeah. I wasn't expecting it to stack holes with such a short barrel and no full stock. Shooting it off my cheek was as accurate a stance as I got, and it did good enough for plinking around at closer ranges.

that's.... not a good group for 25 yards, open sights or not. Maybe try different ammo, 22's can be picky about what they like to shoot.
