Buy recommendations PAL course

Does anyone know of someone who does PAL courses near Fredericton, NB? Actually asking for a friend.

Edit: thanks for the suggestions. Buddy expanded his search area and got one in NS.

Sign up for the wait list on GNB website. They send emails when course registrations open Email alerts go out at like 6am, and courses fill up quick. Gotta be on that sign up link fast

That's the trouble with smaller centers, limited instructors and slots available. Too bad the Op isnt here in Edmonton, theres usually multiple places to take the PAL course weekly it seems.

Same issue in Quebec. PAL courses are monopolized to Quebec Hunting and Fishing Assosciation

I did mine in Oxford NS. The ones all around me (Moncton) were like 3 day courses. Oxford was a 1-day thing, so the driving distance doesn't matter much.

Get ye PAL, get ye SKS, then gimmie a shout haha

I know this is off topic but I think a while ago you mentioned a website that aggregates pricing. I can't find the comment. I know of ammobin and almostprohibited.

I'm from SJ but ended up taking it in Sussex because I could get in more quickly. I believe you can get on multiple locations wait lists.

Go on multiple wait lists and open up to further away. For my pal I had to go an hour away and for rpal I had to drive 90 minutes away. There’s a huge amount of people on wait lists from what I heard.

The staff at DNR who administer the program in NB have less courses on in the summer.

Folks on vacation and some staff are busy with forest fire duties.

They will pick up again in the fall.
