Solid choice for a first one. A Mosin is basically indestructible.

My first gun was a Mosin as well! The best part about having one as your first rifle though is learning recoil control rather quick, more so if you've never touched a gun before.

wicked. Mine came in like a day after my SKS arrived so technically it was my second, but i bought both at the same time. FOC basically scammed my ass over it though, cause it came with 1/3 of an extractor (peened into the bolt head), a dark and pitted bore, and rimlock issues for $700+.
