Bought in Ontario. 2 Mosins for $1100.

I was told the 1938 has all matching serial numbers. Came with a bayonet that fits, a sling and scabbard

I was told the 1941 has mismatched serial numbers and it came with a bayonet that doesn't fit

here's a link to my post on the Mosin subreddit with more pictures

That's a good deal for 2!

Considering today's prices thats not terrible, still wild to see how much people are flogging them for. Hopefully the bores are good and strong with no crown damage or pitting

Mosins and real estate, Canada's 2 biggest investment opportunities

Both due to limited supply being horded by those who afforded it lol

Think you got swindled bro. Mosins haven't been in production since 1973. I think your new mosins are actually used.

Right on. How are the bores? Lots of them garbage rods can have some nasty bores if not taken care of.

I have two myself, and two M38s.

Not bad at all! the 1941 was extremely dirty when I got it. I spent about an hour cleaning the thick black soot out of the barrel but the bore looks good from what I can tell.

the 1938 was in a lot better shape. clean and ready to go when I picked them up. Neither one of them are counter bored which I found kind of surprising

I got mine 10 years ago for about 130 at Canadian Tire. Amazing how prices change.
