I've picked up Hot Wheels collecting again, a few years ago. I did not remember old dudes in their 60's being rude to Wal-Mart employees for not allowing him to open boxes on pallets in the back.
Same with PC components. I'm an enthusiast that does heavy video work and have to fight scalpers whenever I've gotta upgrade.

No. They're available from the US with shorter than 18.5inch barrels so they are restricted. Because the FRT exist they can be imported easily.

My understanding is that some shops got a small batch which sold out immediately, and we're waiting on a new production run now that there's a proven market (so long as they don't catch the ban hammer before they get here)

By the time you'd get one through IRG nowadays though, the guys (like me) who pre ordered in the first batches, should have them by then.
I saw on a recent Carmel ad, that the Carmels should be in country within 60 days apparently. Hoping the Mk15 shipment is showing up soon. I jumped on it within a day of the pre orders showing up.
The more I read about the rifle the more stoked I am for it. The reviews on the MK15 are actually quite good, even from Americans who have access to all sorts of cool shit. I missed the boat on most of the cool stuff, only had my PAL for about 18 months, so I'm super stoked to finally own a proper, quality 223 semi.

I wouldn’t say it’s SLIGHTLY better than our cope rods. It’s leaps and bounds better according to pretty much every review out there on it. The hand guard screws definitely a questionable choice but the rifle all around is sound by the looks of it.

It already look like they cut corner on the rifle at 0 round count. Wouldnt be surprised if they started to fail when people started to put decent amount of rounds on them. Glad bullseyes allow refund on their pre order cause im going all in on the carmel with how the makasi is looking.

I bought a pair of the ASC 10/20 LAR magazines for that same look. It took a lot of tinkering to get it to feed right for my TaipanX

Most reviews I've read on it (reading forums - not actual formal website reviews) are actually quite good.
And if Americans are saying it's good, then it's like the holy grail of guns in Canada. They have access to everything, so it it's up to their standards, then it's far better than anything we've had access to in the last few years.
Things are actually looking up for us Canadian gun owners these days, with the Mk15, Carmel, pump 9mms, and the Supreme Court challenge. I'm actually sort of excited and optimistic for once. The government of course will try to shit on us still as much as possible, but Canadian gun owners and businesses have done a very good job of giving the government the middle finger and telling them to fuck off.

Does anyone know if the non restricted versions will have govt profile barrel as well? Can't seem to find a straight answer. A pencil barrel would look stupid on this gun, much like the Carmel

I don’t think they will change the barrel profile. Because they would have to change the gas block and change jig on where to drill for the gas block pin.

16” barrels are common
18.6” are not
IRG can just bring items in - the other company is ensuring it’s specifically meant for the Canadian market

I'm assuming this guy imported this one through IRG themselves, as it seems ALL the models coming in with the imports, are 18".
This is why everyone who wants one SHOULD have pre ordered. Anyone paying $4500 for one is an idiot instead of putting $200-$500 down months ahead of time, and then just putting aside the money.
But yeah, I knew this would happen and have said so several times on here. Hopefully the imports keep coming, but if for some reason they get stopped after the initial few batches, we will see prices sky rocket even more.
The Stirling R9s were only like $1200 or $1300 when they launched, once the March 25 bans happened, the prices on the R9s used jumped up to $2000+, because it was the only option and demand outstripped supply.
The Mk15 is a sweet looking rifle though. I much prefer the look of the Mk15 to the Carmel. Stoked to get mine in the next few months!
The semi auto 12ga I bought recently had reignited my love of semi autos. I was on a good bolt and lever gun kick for quite a while, but my new semi auto 12ga has reignited my love of semi autos as well.
