Gun and gear reviews TM 22 reliability.

Brand new out of the box. Only things done were top cocking and optics added. 50 rounds, zero problem. Seller and Bellot Canadian match ammo. Someone was asking about feeding.

Mine runs pretty good so far I was having light strikes and I did some stuff, cleaned firing pin channel, increased firing pin throw just a blond one and polished the Insides and I only got the chance to run 130 rounds today but no light strikes today!

How did you increase the firing pin throw exactly?

There’s a recess in the firing pin for the firing pin retainer and I just took a blond one off with some sand paper with a backing I kept the original rounded shape of the channel and by removing a bit of material on the rear side of the channel I increased the stroke just a tiny bit, for the channel that the firing pin sits in l side the bolt I took a centre punch and wrapped it with some 600 grit sandpaper and held it on with a zip tie and gently polished the inside of the channel, hope this helps, i suspect a couple other things could be responsible as well but I will get back to you when I have time!
