Buy recommendations What kind of Sling Should I Get

Post image

Just picked this up (Henry All Weather Big Boy .357) and it comes ready for a sling attachment. Looking for recommendations, I’m thinking of one that holds ammo but also something that aesthetically complements the look.

Don't get one that holds ammo. They are annoying and you never actually use it. Slings are for comfort number one.

A handmade leather one

I like the simple rubberized ones. They stick to the body well in the wet, lightweight, not bulky, and are comfortable.

Its an all weather so I'd put a sling on there designed to be just as resilient, something synthetic and black by magpul

If you want to improve your shooting while hunting, look for an RLS

I prefer an ammo storage on my stock over the sling. A nice hugh faulty leather one would suit it nicely
