I posted this before, just want to say it again so more people see it!
“If a firearm that is an NR gets lost/stolen you must report it.”
“However, you DON’T need to report it if you destroyed it yourself, such as it got rusty and useless, it had a failure, etc. you are allowed to destroy and dispose of it without needing to tell anyone.”
“If your NR then became prohib, you don’t have to report it as long as you destroyed and disposed of it PRIOR to its reclassification. If it’s still intact after reclassification, then this information doesn’t apply.”
I am fairly certain this is accurate information, and if I am wrong I would love to be corrected as I don’t want to say something inaccurate. I will edit or delete this if found to be inaccurate

They fixed basically all their problems in later iterations.Too bad we dont get the newer ones here now.

And the concept of the Ltac raven was horrible. Over charge for the recievers and overcharge for every little part after making everything proprietary becaise you're the only not-an-ar option on the market, then also have horrible customer service. Man I despise Ltac

Yea i liked the multi caliber idea, i haven’t bought other caliber kits, but i would like to get a 9mm restricted upper in a 10.5 and maybe a 308 upper to could be nice. Very little hope on the grandfathering but if it happens i could own a serialised trigger group and a multitude of upper receivers to have fun with.

Ive had 2 actually both gen 1 and then i gave them a second chance when the gen 2 came out. Both steaming piles . And the type 81 blows these things outta the water in terms of reliability. Delusional to think otherwise.

I had the general 3 and it rocked, while a friend had the general 2. We swapped the fire control spring to an AK one, which allowed it to punch out any surplus ammo without a problem.
What issues did you have with the second gen?

Nearly every malf under the sun, light strikes, failure to feed, failure to extract, stove pipes. Neither gen could go thru a t round magazine without a stoppage.

I might agree on the reliability part, i just dont like the actions on them. They feel cheap and they are! There is hundreds of better ak look a like out there but canada wont le me have one

If only someone made an SKS with optics rail, modern mlok, pistol grip, and buttstock like an m10x but it also takes t81 mags.

Come on man, don't do this... You LEGALLY dont have to do anything until the amnesty expiry. Back out while you can. You'd be very pissed off if Carney brought in a 12.9 class license because the sheer amount of non-compliance with this bullcrap. You wouldn't want to be put in a position where we can still shoot our cool "prohibs" and can legally keep and use them for life while you're stuck with whatever cope/surplus remains on the market today...

I wont be giving them away. I have just very little hope left that they will scrap it, i have other now prohibited firearms and would still love to own them but owning them and being able to train and hunt with them is the whole purpose of having them in the first place. Bought the raven to hunt coyotes, 2 weeks later the ban happened and i have never taken her out to the woods only sighted it in… pretty sad about that. I also was supposed to get my grand father handguns collection but the freeze happened before i got my rpal and they are now in a police locker waiting to get melted… really makes me sad, 1912 german p08 was in the lot. Ive only seen it a couple times and he was pretty much promised to me when i was like 12 years old haha

I was trying my hardest to get an M10X before they were banned. Unfortunately by the time I got enough money to spend the day had passed 😞
