Buy recommendations The "Turknelli M3 Super 90" Clone
Anyone else pick up one of these switch-mode clones of the Benelli M3 Super 90, 12 ga shotgun on discontinued clearance? They are now priced $300 under the past retail price, selling on clearance (with lifetime warranty) from Tactical Imports for just $599 CAD.
I am really quite impressed thus far. By all accounts, the semi-auto mode has proven to be reliable with High Velocity bulk 1 Oz slug rounds as well as 00 Buckshot loads and even 5/8 Oz Birdshot rounds. For less lethal rounds and the like simply switch to Pump-Action Mode with a flick of the spring-loaded collar for manual operation.
I replaced my conventional fixed Buttstock for a Black Diamond brand M4 style telescoping length Buttstock with an adjustable Length of Pull. Much better fit! I also added an extended Bolt Release Lever and Charging Handle along with the factory-optional Picatin̈ny Top Rail. Last but certainly not least was a Mossberg 500 Bayonet Mount from Canadian Safety Source in NS, which clamped on perfectly to the Turknelli Magazine Tube....
This is a LOT of Shotgun for $600. A LOT of Shotgun. I highly recommend it at the current price point. Heck, buy two of them and keep one as a spare.....

Just make sure you go through loctiting everything. My turkneli M4 performs great but the sights fell off in a match lol. Been fine since I learned that lesson and actually loctited everything

The need for loctiting screws is not confined exclusively to Turkish products. My Remington 870 Police Magnum developed a loose Rear Rifle Sight under recoil just this past week. Just saying....

Really cool to hear these are good!
For a Turkish gun, I really really really like how Tactical Imports does their lifetime warranty. I have trouble with one of their 410 revolvers, and they gave me tons of options. Return it for refund, return it for credit for the new version, send it in for repair, or send out parts for me to replace myself. And this was a year or two after I bought it.
So very impressive Warranty. I might have to look into this model, though I'm also tempted by their folding semi auto shotgun too.

I don’t understand why they discontinued them…

Very very very low sales. They said so on CGN.

I don't fully understand the lack of sales, and can only attribute it to a lack of effective marketing on the part of Tactical Imports.
The "Turknelli" M3 Super 90 specifically gets around the prohibition of that particular switch-function shotgun by substituting an M4 Receiver for the M3. The remaining components are M3 Super 90 adapted to the M4 Receiver. It is an Inertia-driven semi-auto operating system with the option of manual pump-action operation with a flick of the spring-loaded collar at the front of the Handguard.
A very slick system, it is easy to see why the genuine Benelli M3 Super 90 was adopted by numerous Tier 1 and 2 SOF elements back in the day, allowing the seamless use of lethal and less lethal ammunition in semi-auto and pump-action mode respectively. I highly recommend the "Turknelli" clone for the experience and capability of a switch-mode .12 ga shotgun. Try one, and you may just find that you like it!

If you look on CGN there's been several reliability issues as well. Seems like plenty of lemons went out. Too many considering the extremely low sales. Quality is hit and miss on these.

They were always $600. TI had an open promo code for the entire life of the shotgun. M3super90 at checkout brought it down to $600... I feel bad for anyone who bought one at $900.

It’s not very midget friendly

That is where substituting the Telescoping M4-style Buttstock comes into effect. The adjustable length of pull as compared to the fixed-LOP factory Buttstock is a game-changer for ergonomics and comfortable control of the shotgun's recoil.

I picked one up finally when they announced they were discontinued for 699. Unfortunately mine works only as a single shot shotgun 😂

Have you approached Tac Imports for a repair or exchange? I would do so while they still have stock in-hand, ya know?

I did message them but haven’t heard back. Figured they’re busy, I’ll have to try calling this week and see if I can’t figure out how to proceed.

Hey man are you Bartok5 on CGN cause you just posted the exact same pictures of his gun. And then claim to never heard any issue about it yet your commenting in the same thread right between people who had some. Are you getting paid to promote that stuff?
u/CanadaGunsMod Take a look at this guy and the cgn link below. Page 14 of the thread.

Yes, it is me. I have responded to you on CGN. I have enjoyed excellent performance from my SULUN "M3 Super 90" clone from Tac Imports, exactly as I reported both here and on CGN. Why am I not permitted to post on 2 different sites without the likes of your ilk reporting me to the Mods?!? Go away, little man.

*I hadn't heard of reliability issues...*
Say the guy who is literally acknowledging to a user un cgn that canted sight is the most comon reason for return. And then posting literally 2 comments below 2 differents user with broker trigger assembly.
At best youre a hypocrite.

We can’t really action something based on what something appears to be or not (though reddit admins often do that).
For all I know the user might’ve genuinely had good experiences with the firearm and wanted to post in 2 places.
If you do find solid proof of this happening though (astroturfing) please shoot us a modmail, because it’s not allowed.

https://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/threads/on-clearance-tac-12-m3-super-90.2540050/
Tldr:
-hammer drop when safety is engage
-Forearm drag on the reciever
-Front sight leaning on one side
-3x reports of failed trigger assembly
Its important to note that there isnt that much of these units in canada.

You were not clear. How much shotgun is it for $600?
