Misc IWI Carmel Event

Not sure if this is allowed on the sub but I saw this pop up, If anyone lives in the area and is interested in trying out the IWI Carmel before purchasing it I think this would be a great opportunity! Easthill Outdoors is in Clarington ON

People are either bold or too rich. I can’t risk spending that kinda cash on something the gov will confiscate soon

No it won’t. If they ban it, they’ll make you turn it in or they’ll come for it, like they’ll do for the the current ones we can’t own after Oct 31

You do realize all gun stores report each sale of a firearm right?

That’s an incorrect assumption, they keep a record but it is not automatically reported to the RCMP or government.

What exactly do you think they are submitting to the RCMP before you get handed the gun?

Nothing, it is only a transfer reference number, which can be a prior one within 6 months, first name, last name, PAL number.

Are you in Quebec? It's the only province with firearms registration scheme.

Even still, it’s a record of a purchased firearm. If they come to your house and they only find 5 firearms, even there record that you now own 6, you’re in shit

Or do you just feel like that's true?
Because that seems implausible legally to say the least.

Maybe let a firearms lawyer answer that one.

Those who downvoted me are dumb. You have to let the RCMP know of every firearms transaction. They know how many guns you have. Those disagreeing or not abiding by that, are in for a rude awakening some day
