Gun and gear reviews Coyote rug comes out. That means new rifle.

Just picked up a Benelli R1 in 308 as I was not happy with the accuracy with my Browning BAR MK3. Super happy with it. Comfortable accurate shooter. Getting about 1.25moa with Hornady American whitetail 150gr. I notice it does not like heavier bullets because of the slower 1:11 twist. So maybe I'll find bullets the gun likes even more with more testing. Trigger has mush on the first stage but a light clean break at the wall. Put about 60 rounds without any feeding issues yet.

Using an Arken EP 1-8X LVPO on it.

5 round groups are the real judge of accuracy

I’d argue 10, but 5 minimum

Yeah i completely agree but everyone seems to think that's too extreme so i think 5 is a happy medium

Honestly I half expected to get down voted into oblivion for even suggesting 10 round groups haha. Pleasantly surprised

It depends on your tempo. You have to let the gun cool down at least once in between otherwise you're not getting accurate readings. You're judging consistency not the gun's ability to group with a hot barrel. Personally I like to shoot three rounds of 3 shot groups. They were between 1-1.5moa
