Buy recommendations Ruger American scout Gen 2

Looking to find one of these in Canada. See they have them on dante sport but sold out. Wondering if anyone knows any other ways of getting one.
Looking for it in 308

I’m exploring them as an option but importing would drive the price up quite a bit

I was reading the website saying there’s a 200$ import fee and then 50$ for something else but to be fair I don’t really know how the process works

Its a $200 import fee for firearms you don't order on their website. (ie you order it from bob's guns who ships it to IRG, to then import to Canada)

If you order it from the IRG website and put it in their website shopping cart their fees are a lot less. I don't remember it off the top of my head but I think it was $25 or something.

Ah yes just checked they have it but only in 7.62 and 556. No 308 :(

That's only if you don't buy fron them, gunbroker etc. If it's in stock on their american website its only 50$.

If you buy it from IRG it's only 30 import fee.

Ah. My bad. I missed that you wanted the Scout. I have a Scout in 5.56 but I had to get that through irunguns.

There's a couple good looking 308. gen2 but not the scout you're looking for

Yeah I was checking those out. But I like the options of irons on the scout version
