Buy recommendations Future Bullpup Rifles?
I'm a bullpup fanboy. I want an X-95, an MDR, RFB, anything.
I got my licence just after the 2nd OiC in Dec 2024.
I've got the Canadian 3 gun of a 12ga pump, semi auto .22, and an SKS.
With the Makasi vs Carmel in the works, am I better off a) getting either of these 2 b) waiting for a new bullpup to come to the market, or c) hoping shit changes in the future?

There’s a non restricted SA80 model that just got an FRT a couple weeks ago, submitted by Motiuk. I reached out to him to ask when they’ll be available, he said as soon as he finds a willing manufacturer as he doesn’t want to put money into making them in this political climate (very reasonable). If the Supreme Court challenge goes though at least remotely in our favour (which I see happening tbh) then I bet they will hit the market.
Basically there’s a non restricted SA80 in theory just non physically exist. Maybe worth waiting? I’d personally just grab a Makasi/ Carmel or both

Just get a Carmel, slap a vertical foregrip on it, fold its stock while shooting, and there you go, a bullpup we have at home

Pick one of the current 223 offerings, the wait for a future bullpup could be a long one.

Well the CCFR court case could result in a change but even if it does if the Liberals have a majority there's nothing anybody can do about them just forcing a bill through to ban everything again. You could always just save the $8,000+ and build a Desert Tech SRS.
