It’s an antique, but an extremely well maintained one. The Webley WG Army & Navy model.

Estimated date of production: 1892

6” barrel

Squared grip

Church steeple cylinder

Appears to be completely matching parts

Going to get it looked over by a gunsmith before I take it out, but I’m looking forward to taking it out for the first time.

I won a Martini Henry Mark IV at auction not long ago so I’m able to say I have the matching rifle and pistol for that time period together.

Next goal is a Swiss revolver (the M1882) to match my K31 rifle.

I know. I paid a pretty penny for it. It’s clearly been babied for its life, and I’m going to ensure it stays that way.

It’s worth knowing that because it’s an antique they are extremely expensive. Easily 5-6 times the price of a normal firearm.

I realize it’s an antique I just didn’t know you could purchase them or how you would, I assume there’s no transfer then?

No transferring required. No license required either. But you need the $. They are not cheap. I got the cheapest one available (it’s also in amazing condition for 134 year old gun) but I paid substantially for it.

No problem, and if you are interested in getting into antiques, I would recommend looking at hand loading. It’s much cheaper on your wallet and safer for the firearm.
