Buy recommendations Is it normal?
Dealing with Tenda (and generally buying a firearm online) for the first time and got this. Is it normal?

Funny enough, not all websites though seem to be following this. They all take your PAL info, but not all actually ask for a photo of a PAL, even though it's apparently required now.
Tenda is a good shop with good prices, just be prepared to wait 7-10 days for it to ship out or them to run the transfer. Their shipping is very slow, but they do have fantastic deals sometimes and it can be worth the wait.

Yeah I never buy anything from Tenda after I learned about their fake black friday sales. G4C is the winner.

Definitely a risk some web retailers are taking.

That's new to me. Bought several at retail over the last couple years. I hate that.

If youre in store you dont need this because we can look at you and the pal, but online orders you either need a supporting photo id or to schedule a video call. Its super annoying to deal with as a retailer

I only buy online. I live remote. No shops near me, but Canada Post still delivers.

I wish theyd deliver ammo for us as well. Would open a world of sales for me lol. UPS and Purolator can be picky about where they go.

Curious how this works out for the 'religion exempt' no photo required to get their pal? Was that done away with?

Yes, many firearms retailers have started to do this. Two pieces of ID.

I had that last time I ordered through tenda. Was like half a year ago I think

Buy and sell non-restricted with nothing more than proving PAL and move on with your life. Stupid rules are designed to be broken.

That's overkill for sure. I would definitely look for somewhere else to buy if possible.
