Shooting Anyone going to the Mission Rod and Gun this weekend?
If you are and wouldn't mind accompanying a guest, I'd like to tag along. I've heard good things about the club, particularly that it has a 300 yard range. Would be sweet to check it out before committing to the membership, since it is a bit of a drive for me.
Side discussion: what are some of the better ranges in the lower mainland?

I'm partial to PCDHFC, but I've had good experiences at all the ranges I've been to. Used to be a member at mission when I was a kid and it was great too

I've really enjoyed Ridgedale Rod and Gun, depending on where you are located. It's very quite, I find I'm quite often the only shooter.

I have a friend with a membership there and have gone twice. I only shot at the rifle range, and it really is nice! however, I am unsure if it is a full 300 yards. The last one looked more like 250, so maybe bring a rangefinder for confirmation.
In addition, if you want a shorter range for plinking or handguns, The Range Langley is nice. I haven't tried the others around.

I think during the CCFR's range days + some weekends they allow for public access and sighting in so you can use the range. Otherwise you can ask for a tour.
Abby and Mission are the best IMHO.

Mission range is great. I shoot there regularly, including monthly rimfire benchrest club matches.
They just added a 100m multipurpose range as well. Lots of weekend events book the main rifle range so it's nice there is an alternative now. The dedicated trap range gets a lot of use too.
If I wasn't out of town this weekend, I'd offer up taking you as a guest.
I also shoot at Ridgedale. Only 192yds (and kinda awkward shooting uphill) but it's a smaller, and a less busy range in general even on weekends.
I've heard good things about Chilliwack and Abby clubs too, but have not been to either personally.

You could contact the range for viewing but they won’t allow you to shoot
It is a great range especially with 300m rifle range. Other than that, it is pretty basic and good old range
