Buy recommendations Makasi, Carmel, Both, or Neither?

Post image

Both non-restricted 5.56 short-stroke gas piston semiauto accepting Stanag mags. Both taking orders with similar delivery dates. What is your choice and your reasons?

Edit: So to summarize what y'all are saying: - Makasi for AR aesthetics and compatibility, - Carmel for reliability, - Both if you hate money, - Neither because of potential bans.

If you are planning to spend some more on bubba up your gun, Makasi is your cup of tea.

If you want great reliability and accuracy out of factory, Carmel is so much better.

I prefer Carmel for two reason:

I don’t plan on swapping out the trigger bolt barrel cause I simply don’t want to spend more on a risky spending.

I don’t think couple of Americans with a few CNC machine is better at gun manufacturing than a arsenal that’s been supplying firearms for active military actions for decades.

Your money, your choice, don’t let others make the choice for you.
