Feets / Collection / My build $175 gun store find
Found this lee Enfield no 1 mark 3 at the LGS. Was missing a mag. Happened to have a buddy with an extra mag. Picked it up for cheap. Probably slap a new stock on it since this one has had lots of "art" added to it.
Recommendations for a sub $200 stock for it? Not sure if I want try and restore it or go with a polymer stock.
Surprised no one makes a ranger point style stock for these.

Apparently basspro carries an ati Enfield stock thats like $140. I dont know if it would be an upgrade to the classic "moose" but you could check it out.

Don't bother restoring this unless it's actually broken. It's just not worth it; that's why nobody else except maybe Boyd's and ATI make replacement stocks for it.
That said, if you do decide to replace it, make sure you take the handguard off before the stock or you'll wreck the handguard.

Leaning more towards the anti stock or seeing if I can make a shotgun stock fit.

I seen one for $100 on gunpost in Regina back in 2024, also without a mag. Considered buying it but figured that bore would be too loose for my needs.

This one has a good life left luckily. I'm lucky one of my buddies had a mag he gave me. They are like 80 bucks now.

Whats going on with the 2 holes on the front receiver ring? they look drilled and filed out several times over.
