That magazine is such a buzz killer. They need to work on it badly.

What's funny is back when GSG15s were around, those mags looked absolutely ridiculous because the mag was so huge and the ammo was so puny. These mags are appropriately sized, but it doesn't look as cool. Just can't win with 22s ๐Ÿ˜‚

There is some option for that.

Imagine if the grip was actually level instead of looking like it was poorly photoshopped into place lol

Thereโ€™s some good cover options that make it look like a regular mag

I bet for the most part, that they're coming off the safe queens, to be used until the sun rises

Yep, you got it. But hey, at least the grey matches the rifle well, right? ๐Ÿ˜‚ I mean, this Eotech was previously on a lever action. So I felt this was slightly more appropriate.

Optics costing more than the rifle? Canadians: *hold my beer*

I'll just wait for a sig romeo to go on sale. Nice tube, features, quality.

I just got the exact colour too! Mind me asking what parts you added?

A plethora of Magpul accessories, flash hider, Eotech XPS2.

Throw a faux can and a magazine cover on that bad boy would look sick

2

u/TM7075 May 26 '26

Was considering a faux can! Especially a reverse-styled one.

Did you have to swap the buffer tube to mil-spec or do these new ones come with one?

The 12in Pro comes with a "milspec" buffer tube. I say "milspec", because it doesn't appear to be perfectly milspec. With my digital calipers it appears to be very, very close, but the tolerances (at least on mine...) appeared to be off. There was just no way for my Magpul buttstock to comfortable slide on. I did end up swapping the tube (and the plate, I got the TM22 milspec plate from TNA), in order for the Magpul buttstock to fit.

It's a little unfortunate. I was initially surprised that they finally shipped them with milspec. But it's not true milspec, and the interchangeability just isn't guaranteed. The original TM22s came with commercial spec tubes. But if the new "milspec" tubes aren't true milspec, it didn't really improve on anything.

They did however, improved elsewhere: they included a thicker rubber buffer in the back of the receiver (with the plug).

Thatโ€™s interesting. I just picked up a 18โ€ tm22 pro and was considering swapping the stock to the Magpul CTR. Good to know, thanks.
